Haven't posted on my own site for a long time... Didn't really feel for a long time I would with life and choices I and others made... But now settled down with my best mate and wife on our property overlooking Pindari Dam NSW and not that my passion for fishing and lure design has faded but kinda was scattered a bit for quite a bit... But now we're I'm living here and cod lures are some of my favourite to build things are swinging back into them again... This is a mullet I'm starting and will be a swimbait once finished... More details as I get him going... Cheers Shane...

Epic, see some of your stuff pop up on faceache. Somehow this forum feels more connected to the individual artists (because for me it as about the functional artform) and those that use said art, its a bit more community like. Great to have you posting here again and look forward to more photos and inspiration.

Definitely jointed Mick... Be  I'd say about three piece but plastic hard body clear flexible rubber fins... I have done a fiber glass one back sometime and had one of best results of swimbait designs... This and I have a big articulating rat that I'm doing... But he has much more to him and think will be one that will be up there with my favourites I've done when finished... Cheers Shane

Great detail, I don’t have the patience and mental capacity to do that. I admire the skills of the people that do though.

I could fillet that and pan fry it in butter- if I didn’t know it was made of timber

That as a timber lure would not lose any value if you took a mold off it and sold the molded version to fish with.

That lure molded would smash the fish.
