penny wells on her tv program " top of downunder " had been using an ironman travel master multi-rod & reel ( see www.ironman4x4.com )
i bought mine from the ironman agent on bribie - its very compact - stows away easily - appears to be well made - ideal when we go away with the camper trailer
cheers

a wife & a steady job are a handicap to the serious fisherman !!

reel has spools of 6 lb , 12 lb and 25 lb - the colours match the 3 tip sections but i reckon with braid you could go higher

Interested to see what you think of it in use.
I saw ads for it when I was looking at travel gear and wondered how it would go.

Bazza
Would the rod kit fit in a suitcase.

Appears it would be a handy salt water out fit.  I have more than enough reels, but the rod appears very interesting.

Looking forward to your assessment of the outfit under fishing conditions.

Regards John
