Located my first interesting lure down south.

Presumably from America , I  was told it was aged.

Recorded on belly Fletchi Water  D  (no doubt dragon  or now dog )

Small sinker on stainless wire held tightly to body of lure
Regards John

Thanks rivermandave
I see he is a dog not a dragon and does appear to have a little age
The last lure you posted appears to similiar to the Nilsmaster released around the late 80's for a short while with an open mouth, Sales were not good in Aussie so i was told.

Regards John

Those Nilmasters are called a BIG MOUTH. I think they came in 3 sizes, these are the largest size.

from Wikipedia:
Waterdog, the gilled, aquatic larval form of the tiger salamander, often sold as pets or bait
  • By extension, the gilled, aquatic larva of any species of newt or salamander, used as a generic term.
  • Through confusion, the gilled, aquatic Mudpuppies and other members of the Proteidae family, or the Axolotl, all salamanders that are entirely aquatic throughout their lives
