It is amazing the adversities a human can conquer, I remember telling my son once how my guitar playing was been held back by my fat sausage like fingers. He walked over to the computer and showed me a Youtube video of an Indian fellow with no arms and barely any legs playing the most articulate passage of classical music with his toes Embarrassed. Just goes to show you, you can't keep a good fisherman down. 

A few years ago I saw a bloke wearing dishwasher gloves while tailor fishing off Currumbin Rock. I said to him - "mate it's cool but not that cold". He said it wasn't the cold, but he is allergic to fish, even touching a fish scale with bare skin sends him into anaphylaxis shock.
