Jazz Zappa's are a good option if you're looking for small WTD lures, not too expensive and catch more than their fair share of bream. Come in a decent range of clearish colours too. Clear/Yellow is a favorite. Shallow chubbies work a wonder, but are too expensive for my taste when there are oysters/barnacles involved

I started buying plastic blanks for bream surface poppers.
Felt stupid paying $10-20 for a bit of plastic that is just clear coated.
So now I just buy the bit of plastic and clear coat/seal myself. |

More about sealing the seams. Particularly with the cheaper blanks.
I'll bring a few to a meeting and show you. But - even when 1/4 swims like cack, and the other 3 get butchered by chopper, I'm still catching bream and whiting on poppers for not much $$$.
