Could be bob, very pliable. Tapered underneath. Not sure if you would need a mould to get that type of effect.

The bottom fly looks like a gummy fly, you buy pre-glued silicon cut out the shape and stick it onto its self and the hook, can be very fiddley if it sticks to something else.
The silicon is actually made for gummy flies , it may even be called gummy. Big-Pete

Nice flies there - especially like the bottom one although it needs a prominent eye. The tail in the top fly isn't that hard to make really. All you need to do is strip the barbs off of a hackle and pinch out the tip to make that "arrow flight" shape. You then pass the quill up the guts of the mylar tube that acts as the lateral line and tie & glue off. Here is a pic of my Woods Bay Anchovy fly to mimic Australian Bay Anchovies with the real things I used as a "model". Cheers Pat.

Cheers John - the silver body is mylar braid, the belly sac is 3D fabric "stuff" for making prints on fabric with a raised 3d appearance. This was allowed to "skin off" and then formed using the thumb and forefinger brought together to form a V while wet with H2O plus a little detergent. The entire body was coated with Softdip fly tying goop. ###Where is the eyes you refer to posted ?. Cheers Pat.
