The water in the Macleay at present is 25+ degree and the Whiting are starting to take surface and sub surface lures.got a couple over the last couple of trips

My contribution. 
Crappy conditions, big tides, small window of opportunity but still had some fun, am definitely hooked on this, blooded my new reel as well Big smile.

Thanks boys I have found that slow to medium sinking lures seem to be the go and the Toga also have taken a liking to these little lures

See the middle treble is removed. Am guessing this is to slow the sink rate??
