Came across this ad Fishing World November 1977.
Well before they became more popular.
I wondered if anybody else fishes plastic at night, and has success, using anything else other than the frog style lure.

regards John

I make some glow in the dark stuff for fishing at night . Blue top clear silver glitter and glow on bottom. Also Chartreuse Green and yellow glow . Works pretty good. If they become dim just put them under a light for a few minutes .
You and I can make a positive difference in someones life every day if only for a moment.

There's a lot of Jew fisho's that use plastic's at night, I still have 6 and 8'' King Cocahoe tails and Scroungers that I used to use around Lennox Head and Ballina before I designed my Hardbodies for Jew. I even caught them on modified spinnerbaits.
Cheers
Wal

Not if you look at the parrellels between mulloway and the American Redfish and striper fisheries and apply the techniques, what is happening here now with plastics they were doing 20 years ago on very similar fish

Mulloway have been caught regularly in Australia on plastic's, hardbodies and Metals for a long time. Fishing techniques in this country seem to be driven by marketing hype and fad's, many successful techniques never take off or fall by the wayside and are forgotten, I have articles on fishing with plastic's and metals for Mulloway that date back to the 60's
Cheers
